This 16th-century work, crafted from white Carrara marble and attributed to the Tuscan sculptor Giovanni Angelo Montorsoli (Florence 1507 - Florence 1563), is set within a tuff frame consisting of a semicircular fluted band divided into four sections by four floral decorations.
